About Engineers HQ

Engineers HQ is the trading name of Engineers HQ Limited, a New Zealand Limited Company (NZ Company No. 9452908; NZBN 9429053899446). These terms apply to use of engineershq.co.nz and to products sold by Engineers HQ.

Order requests and acceptance

Submitting the checkout form is a request for Engineers HQ to review an order. It is not immediate acceptance and no payment is taken at that point. We first confirm availability, freight, lead time, product compatibility where relevant and the final payable total.

An order is accepted when Engineers HQ confirms acceptance and payment is successfully completed, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.

Prices and payment

Prices are in NZD. Engineers HQ does not charge GST on Marketplace products or freight. Freight and any known additional charge will be shown or confirmed before payment. If a price, specification or availability statement is clearly incorrect, Engineers HQ may correct it before accepting the order.

Card and supported wallet payments are processed by Stripe. Bank transfer may be offered by prior arrangement.

Products and technical information

We aim to keep product descriptions, sizes, images, compatibility information and availability accurate. Some images are representative and some supplier stock changes quickly. Customers should check critical dimensions, grades, interfaces and machine compatibility before approving the final order.

Shipping and returns

The Shipping Policy and Returns Policy form part of these terms. Estimated lead times are not guarantees unless agreed in writing.

Sales Portal and supplier directory

Supplier profiles and Sales Portal adverts may describe third-party businesses, products, services, jobs or equipment. Unless Engineers HQ is expressly identified as the seller, the transaction is between the user and the advertiser or supplier. Users should independently verify the other party, ownership, suitability, pricing, freight, warranties and payment terms.

Submitted business and service listings

A person submitting a listing confirms that they are authorised to provide the information and uploaded material, that it is accurate to the best of their knowledge, and that Engineers HQ may review, edit and publish approved listing content across the Engineers HQ website and mobile app.

Submission does not guarantee publication, verification, placement or customer enquiries. Engineers HQ may request evidence, reject or remove content, and correct formatting or categorisation. The submitter remains responsible for keeping business details, capabilities, hours and contact information accurate and for ensuring that logos, photos and other material do not infringe another person's rights.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 where those laws apply.

Acceptable use and changes

Users must not misuse the website, submit unlawful or misleading content, interfere with security or attempt unauthorised access. Engineers HQ may moderate, reject or remove listings and may update these terms when the service changes. The current version is published here.
